Based on this review alone: buy it if you care about new 1-inch camera sensor (same as dji air 3s main camera) — just accept 2x medium tele lens introduces noise in low light conditions.
The DJI Mini 5 Pro represents a substantial upgrade to the popular Mini series, particularly excelling in camera performance and battery longevity. It features a new 1-inch sensor, delivering 14 stops of dynamic range, and offers a 2x (48mm equivalent) tele lens through intelligent cropping of its 50-megapixel sensor, although this tele lens shows noise in low light. Real-world flight time is dramatically improved, easily reaching 30 minutes compared to 15-20 minutes on its predecessor. If you prioritize superior video and photo quality from a sub-250g drone with advanced features like improved tracking and obstacle avoidance, this is worth it. If consistent low-light telephoto performance is a critical need, you may notice some limitations.
